4-H Enrollment

4-H Enrollment Information

4-H enrollment is open to any youth in Kewaunee County (and the immediate surrounding counties) in grades kindergarten through grade 13 (one year past high school). You can enroll in Kewaunee County 4-H at any time throughout the year. However, to show at the Kewaunee County Fair, re-enrolling member need to have their forms turned into the UW-Extension office by October 1st. New members have until February 1st to enroll and show at the county fair.

In order to enroll in 4-H you need to fill out a 4-H enrollment form, contact a club general leader, and get involved. It’s that simple. The Kewaunee County enrollment guide lists all of the projects that you can take and it will explain how to fill out your form.

When you are choosing a club, you may want to visit a few to see what one is the best fit for your family. If you need a list of the clubs, please contact the UW-Extension Office at (920)388-7135.  Once you have decided which club to join, contact the club leader and they will let you know when and where their next meeting will take place. Also, they will be able to provide you with a calendar or 4-H project meetings and events.

Project meetings (such as horse, leathercraft, or dogs) are different than your club meeting and focus on specific topic area. They usually take place at seperate times and locations than your club meetings. Some projects have county wide meetings while others meet on a club level or are geared toward self-study.
