What is a business plan and why write one? This workshop explains the importance of business planning, defines and describes the components of a business plan, and provides resources that can help you develop a very good business plan.

Dave Stauffacher, a business consultant with the SBDC at UW-Green Bay, offers his services to clients in our northeast region of Wisconsin.David has a known passion to assist small business clients throughout their journey toward success. In addition to his professional activities, he continues to volunteer within our business community representing our local SCORE Chapter.
Tara Carr is an MBA graduate of Saginaw Valley State University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations from Bowling Green State University. Tara is presently the Director of the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and serves on Board of Directors for the Bay Area Workforce Development.
In collaboration with Bunker Labs Wisconsin Inc., the Small Business Development Center at UWGB is offering financial incentives of up to $500 for military veterans. A $500 stipend opportunity is now available for up to 36 veterans and their spouses/children taking Entrepreneurial Training Program (EPT) classes in 2017 with the SBDC. The $500 stipend is in addition to the $750 grant the SBA offers for successful completion of the ETP course. ETP is an 8-week training course to assist entrepreneurs develop a business plan, while offering personalized coaching and mentoring.
