Caring for Children and Teens Who Have Experienced Trauma




 is an evidence-based strength training program for men and woman. Each class includes progressive weight training, flexibility, and balance activities. This program can help improve bone density, reduce falls, increase flexibility and strength. Participants in this 8 week class meet twice a week for one hour.  Individuals aged 70 and up will need a release from their physician stating they are able to participate.  Cost is $12 for the 8 week program.

          Facilitated By:
          Provides an opportunity for people with early stage dementia diagnosis, family, friends,
          caregivers, and others to meet for emotional support and to exchange coping skills with one
          another. Partners with the ADRC of the Lakeshore and the Alzheimer’s Association.
          When: 4th Wednesday monthly from 10-11am
          Where: ADRC of the Lakeshore , 810 Lincoln St, Kewaunee, WI 54216.
          1st time visitors, please contact Kim Jacquart-Franzen, Dementia Care Specialist for the ADRC
          of the Lakeshore at 1-877-416-7083 to discuss details and to set up a required pre-screening.
          A monthly support group for any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one.
          Topics include common reactions to grief, memories, coping, adjusting to new roles, self-care,
          traditions, and finding hope.
          When: 2nd Wednesday monthly 3-4:30pm

          A group for Caregivers! Grab your mug, we have the coffee! This is an opportunity for
          Caregivers to meet other Caregivers, share their experiences, gain support in providing
